STATEMENT OF WORK

Relocation and Moving Services

A. GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Title of Project: Relocation and moving company services for Combined Force Space Component Command (CFSCC).

2. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, tools, supplies, equipment, materials, and labor necessary to pack, load, transport, unload and relocate office supplies and secure safes on Vandenberg Air Force Base (AFB), California. Services shall be performed in accordance with (IAW) this Statement of Work (SOW).

· The contractor will provide moving services from the site at building 10577, 747 Nebraska Ave, VAFB to building 7000, 816 13th St, VAFB. (1 mile)

· The contractor will also provide moving services from the site at building 8401, 1521 Utah Ave, VAFB to building 7000, 816 13th St, VAFB. (1 mile)

· The contractor will be required to move the following items: file cabinets, book shelves, secure safes, paper shredders, hard drive degaussers, hard drive shredders, historical memorabilia and pro-gear. A complete list of the secure safes and their weights can be found in Attachment 4 Safe List.

· The contractor will ensure there is no damage to walls, doors or flooring during this effort.

3. Performance Period: 9 April 2021 to 5 July 2021

4. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price

B. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. The Air Force requires safes to be transported in a secure fashion. For this reason the contactor will be required to use a moving vehicle with a securable bay (three solid walls and a lockable door).

2. While transporting safes, the contractor will be escorted by a minimum of two government appointed couriers. The couriers will escort the contractor in a “follow” vehicle and ensure no unauthorized stops.

3. Finally, the contractor’s vehicle secured bay will be locked using a Government provided pad-lock and locked/unlocked by a government representative.

· Required Certifications and Licensees:

· Ability to access a Military Installation

· Valid Driver’s License

· Valuation & Liability

· Certificate of Liability Insurance
