Daily site clean-up and removal of all debris is required, with proper off-base disposal being the contractor's responsibility. Pricing and ordering shall be based on Government-established size categories: Small (standard tree diameter ≤24" or height ≤25', palm height ≤30' removal or ≤15' trimming), Medium (25"–36" diameter or 25'–49' height, palm 31'–60' removal or 16'–30' trimming), and Large (37"–48" diameter or ≥50' height, palm 61'–80' removal or 31'–60' trimming). All work must comply with federal, state, local, and Air Force environmental laws and regulations, OSHA 29 CFR 1910, ANSI Z133 safety standards, and EM 385-1-1. Contractor personnel must wear appropriate personal protective equipment including high-visibility vests, hard hats, eye protection, hearing protection, and chainsaw chaps. Only qualified line-clearance tree trimmers may work within 10 feet of energized overhead power lines, and appropriate traffic control signage and flaggers must be provided for work near base roadways in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
