About this file
This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the Department of the Air Force 502D Air Base Wing for generator repair services at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph. The urgent market research seeks to identify qualified contractors capable of performing generator repair, specifically involving removal and installation of a new Electronic Control Module (ECM), programming, testing, and certification of an ONAN Standby Generator. Key requirements include the ability to begin work as early as 10 July 2025, provide a 1-year warranty on parts and labor, and submit responses by 3 July 2025 at 11:00am CST.
The sources sought document targets small businesses, with preferences for socio-economic categories like HUBZone or service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. Potential vendors must be licensed to perform electronic component maintenance repairs, confirm parts availability, and provide recent experience with similar military or governmental service contracts. Responses should be submitted electronically to Miranda Garza and Lauren Macias in MS Word or PDF format, with pricing details voluntary. The market research aims to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy and is not a formal solicitation, with no evaluation results to be issued to participants.
