Key technical requirements include: installing dedicated 12/2 wire to one outlet per room with parallel wiring for additional outlets; running dedicated 12/2 wire from the panel to each light switch and to ceiling-mounted lights; installing 12/3 wiring for 3-way and 4-way switching configurations; replacing all outlets and switches with new 20-amp rated devices; installing two single 20-amp breakers per room (one for outlets, one for lights); installing 20-amp GFCI outlets in kitchens, bathrooms, and exterior areas; and running dedicated circuits to the gas furnace emergency switch, condensing unit, refrigerator, stove, and garbage disposal. The contractor must also coordinate with a drywall subcontractor to repair and patch all opened walls, ensure proper grounding and code compliance throughout, remove all debris from government property, and label each breaker at the electrical panel. Work must be scheduled through the housing manager during normal operating hours (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), with overtime requiring 24-hour advance approval.
