MOUNT RAINIER NATIONAL PARK

SCOPE OF WORK

Refinish Paradise Guide House Floor

I. General Information:

The Guide House located at Paradise Washington in Mount Rainier National Park is located East of Ashford, Washington. This building will have approximately 1,860 square feet of vertical grain Fir flooring refinished. The existing flooring finish is in poor condition in areas requiring a complete sanding and refinish.

This project consists of resealing the floor with an oil based Swedish finish. The floor finishing consists of all preparation, sanding, applying three (3) coats of finish, disposing of any waste or materials offsite, and leaving the jobsite clean. The Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, equipment and labor required to perform the prescribed scope of work. Contractor shall be responsible to verify measurements. A site visit is recommended to evaluate the prescribed scope of work.

II. Work Requirements:

Contractor shall supply all materials and labor needed to complete the project complying with manufacturers specifications. Flooring will need to be prepped and coated with traditional

Swedish finish and final coat of Semi-Gloss. All doors, casing and baseboard will remain in place.

III. Supporting Information:

WORKING HOURS: The hours and days are flexible after issuance of a Notice to Proceed to complete the project, including clean-up of premises.
