Special note: Units T4, T5, T7, T8, T15E, and T5W will be treated under both Item 1, Hand Cut and/or Machine Cut and/ or Machine Push and/ or Tractor Pile and Item 3, Mastication.
Notes:One award will be made from this solicitation, contractors must submit pricing for all items.
Optional Line Items may or may not be awarded based on budget and current needs. If awarded, it may be at initial time of contract award, or later through a contract modification. If exercised, the contractor will be required to perform the optional work in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract.
Unit acreages are estimated based on GPS or GIS ArcView. Payment will be based on Actual Treatment Acres determined by GPS at the discretion of the Forest Service after contractor completes the unit.
QUOTE AFFORDABILITY The Government estimates that the total value of all mandatory items is between $400,000 and $450,000. The Government estimates that the additional total value of all optional items is between $300,000 and $350,000. Quoters should not interpret these ranges as representing a ceiling or a floor; rather, this information is provided as a courtesy to prospective quoters. The Government may select a quote for award with a price below, within, or exceeding this range if it finds that quote provides the best value, and funds are available.
Multiple quotes. You may submit multiple quotes presenting alternative approaches to getting the work done while meeting the identified specifications. Each quote submitted must be complete with full pricing and technical submissions; representations and certifications may be submitted once and referenced across all quotes from one offeror. Each quote submitted will be evaluated separately.
