About this file

This is a pricing schedule template for a Request for Quotation (RFQ) solicitation issued by the U.S. Coast Guard for repair services of EGI 764+429+JAIC components (NSN: 1680-01-HS1-9691, Part Number: HG9869K1-001). Vendors are required to complete three line items by filling in yellow highlighted boxes only: Teardown, Test and Evaluation/No Fault Found (one unit estimated), Repair services (eight units), and Beyond Economic Repair/Scrap (one unit estimated). Offerors must provide unit pricing for each service category, lead time information, and specify FOB terms (either Destination or Origin, with shipping estimates required if selecting Origin). The total quotation will auto-calculate based on entered pricing. Vendors must also indicate acceptance of FAR 52.217-6 Option for Increased Quantity to repair up to three additional items within 365 days of award.

Only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Honeywell International (Cage Code 0BFA5) authorized repair facilities are eligible to submit quotations, as all repairs must be performed by the OEM or OEM-authorized vendors. Offerors must provide necessary certifications including traceability to the manufacturer, manufacturer's Certificate of Conformance (COC), and their own COC to ensure airworthiness and suitability for USCG aircraft installation. The schedule notes that Beyond Economic Repair and Teardown/Test and Evaluation fees are mutually exclusive per unit—if a component is determined to be beyond economic repair, only the BER fee applies. Actual quantities in the BER and TTE categories may vary based on vendor evaluation following receipt of components, though the government is not obligated to equitable adjustment based on estimated quantities.

Will you accept Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.217-6 Option for Increased Quantity for the option to repair three (3) additional items within three hundred and sixty-five (365) days of award?

NOTE - Beyond Economic Repair (BER)/Scrap is NOT in addition to Teardown, Test and Evaluation (TTE)/No Fault Found (NFF). If a unit is found to be BER, only the BER fee will apply and will NOT be inclusive of the TTE fee (TTE + BER).

NOTE - "Quantity of 1" for BER/Scrap and TTE/NFF line items is an estimated quantity and will be utilized for establishing fair and reasonable price determination; the actual amount of items that fall into these categories will be based on vendors evaluation of components after receipt of order.

"Failure of the Government to furnish such items in the amounts or quantities described in the Schedule as "estimated" or "maximum" will not entitle the contractor to any equitable adjustment in price under the Government Property clause of the contract."
