About this file
The document is a Salient Characteristics file detailing technical specifications for an infrared camera system for mission support, specifically for the Department of the Air Force Space Command. The camera system requires an Indium Antimonide (InSb) detector with a spectral range of 3.0-5.0um, 640 x 512 pixel resolution, and closed-cycle rotary sensor cooling. Key features include a 50-250mm continuous metric zoom lens with a 3X focal attachment allowing 150-750mm zoom, HD/SDI video output, and two CoaXPress pHSDR data recorders with Research Studio Pro Software.
Additional technical specifications include an integration time of 480 ns, full frame and sub-window modes, and an imaging capability ranging from 10-3000 degrees Celsius. The system includes a self-contained filter wheel with neutral density filters (ND 0, ND 1, ND 3) and requires non-uniformity correction at specific integration times. The solicitation (FA4610258888(2)) is specifically for an IR Camera System and Accessories, targeting advanced optical imaging equipment for military applications.
