About this file
This document is the Salient Characteristics attachment (Attachment 1) for federal contract opportunity FA524026Q0035, a brand-name-only procurement by the 36th Logistics Readiness Squadron (36 LRS) for Bucket Bunker Compact Track Loader (CTL) attachment racking systems supporting the Rapid Airfield Damage Repair (RADR) mission.
The procurement requires two specific Bucket Bunker models: eight Grapple PRO Racking Systems and seven Demo PRO Racking Systems. The Grapple PRO features a dedicated top shelf engineered for bulky hydraulic grapple attachments with additional space for buckets, brooms, forks, and tools (4-5 attachments total). The Demo PRO is designed to simultaneously hold a loader bucket/broom, pallet forks, a top-mounted large attachment, and internal tools (4-5 attachments total). Both systems must be constructed of high-tensile USA steel with an unladen weight of 800–850 lbs and must be fully compatible with Caterpillar CTL attachments and SAE J2513 Universal Quick Attach plates, including safe routing configurations for CAT-style high-pressure hydraulic hoses. The contractor must provide maximum load test capacity documentation to verify operator safety during overhead lifting and rapid transit of fully loaded units. Both systems require integrated 4-way forklift pockets, overhead lifting D-rings, and integrated cargo securement mechanisms (chains), along with a corrosion-resistant industrial finish suitable for high-humidity, high-salinity coastal environments. Delivery is FOB Destination to Andersen AFB, Yigo, Guam 96929, with the contractor bearing all responsibility for shipping, ocean freight, customs clearance, and transit logistics. The contractor must coordinate delivery with the local Point of Contact at least 48 hours prior to arrival.

Brand Name: Bucket Bunker
1.0 General Requirement
The 36th Logistics Readiness Squadron (36 LRS) has a brand-name-only requirement for the procurement of genuine, new Bucket Bunker Compact Track Loader (CTL) attachment racking systems, specifically the Demo PRO and Grapple PRO models.
These attachment racking systems will provide deployable storage solutions for buckets, brooms, and other large attachments for Caterpillar CTLs supporting the Rapid Airfield Damage Repair
(RADR) mission kit.
2.0 Item Descriptions:
Item 1: Bucket Bunker Grapple PRO Racking System (Qty: 8)
Rapidly deployable rack featuring a dedicated top shelf specifically engineered for bulky hydraulic grapple attachments, alongside space for buckets/brooms, forks, and tools (4-5 attachments total).
Item 2: Bucket Bunker Demo PRO Racking System (Qty: 7)
Rapidly deployable rack designed to simultaneously hold a loader bucket/broom, pallet forks, a top-mounted large attachment, and an internal tool (4-5 attachments total).
3.0 Specifications (Applies to Items 1 & 2)
Asset Compatibility: Fully compatible with CAT CTL attachments and SAE J2513 Universal
Quick Attach plates. Must include safe routing configurations to prevent crushing CAT-style high-pressure hydraulic hoses during transit.
Deployability: Constructed of high-tensile USA steel with an unladen weight of 800–850 lbs to engineer the exact center of gravity for safe transit under multi-attachment loads.
Safety & Load Certification: The contractor must provide documentation verifying the maximum load test capacity of the racking systems to ensure operator safety during the overhead lifting and rapid transit of fully loaded units.
