About this file

This document specifies the salient characteristics and requirements for a fully automated flushing system designed for Fuel Oil Heat Exchangers (FOHEs) on F-15 and F-16 aircraft. The required system shall be equivalent to a HotFlush, Inc. (CAGE: 6ELV0) Model HF11 AF F15, representing a brand-name-or-equivalent specification. The system must operate on 240-volt, single-phase electrical power and deliver a minimum flow rate of 11 gallons per minute to effectively remove particulate contamination, debris, and carbon deposits without requiring component disassembly. The system shall utilize a patented, non-invasive pulsation process and maintain operational reliability during maintenance use.

The procurement includes required accessories to support immediate operational deployment: F-15/F-16 coupler fittings with required connectors, five 28-micron checkable screens, five 10-micron reservoir filters, and five 10-micron prefilter test papers. The system must incorporate replaceable filtration components and materials enabling maintainers to verify contamination levels. This maintenance solution is intended to reduce maintenance downtime and costs while maximizing aircraft availability during both training and active deployments.

Description

A fully automated, 240-volt single-phase, 11-gpm flushing system designed to maintain operational readiness and engine efficiency for the F-16. By utilizing a patented, non-invasive pulsation process, that rapidly dislodges and removes debris, carbon deposits, and contaminants from the aircraft's vital Fuel Oil Heat Exchanger (FOHE) without requiring component disassembly. This maintenance solution ensures the F-16's systems remain clean and responsive during both training and active deployments, significantly reducing maintenance downtime and costs while maximizing availability.
