About this file

The document is a Salient Characteristics specification for Training Area Tents for Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. The requirement is for four tents with specific dimensional parameters: 16-18 feet wide, 16-18 feet long, and 10-12 feet center height, with 6-8 foot walls. The tents must be in OD Green or Desert Tan, featuring personnel doors at each end, screened windows with covering flaps, and meet rigorous environmental specifications including waterproofing, UV resistance, and fire resistance (NFPA 701 standard).

Key technical requirements include a steel frame corrosion-protected base suitable for dirt foundation anchoring, capable of withstanding 60 MPH wind loads. The tents must have a quick-connect electrical system with 120VAC fluorescent or LED lighting, removable non-slip flooring, and reusable transportation containers. The tents are designed to withstand extreme conditions, including black flag temperatures exceeding 90°F, with robust construction features. The installation will be completed by government personnel, and the solicitation is issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command under solicitation number FA301025Q0026_Conger.
