Combat Conditioning Center Bike Requirements
The following specifications for stationary bicycles are required to train the Air Force Special Warfare trianees to prepare them for any subsequent courses that are required. The dimensions that are shown are required so the 32 bikes fit appropriately in the facility.
The first bike must meet the specifications of the Rogue Echo bike or equivalent.
The required specifications of Bike 1
• Product weight 127 lbs.
• Body weight capacity of 350 lbs.
• Length of bike 58.875”
• Width of bike 29.875”
• Height of bike 52.75”
• Foot print of bike 44.5” x 23.75”
• Heavy duty steel with the dimensions used to construct the bike of 2x3”, 1.25x3”, and
1.625x3.125” in black powdercoat
• Rubber leveling feet under each base tube
• Mounted LCD console that measures 6.375” x 6.375”
• LCD Console that displays a work/rest interval, target time, target distance, target calories, and heart rate that runs on two AA batteries
• An adjustable padded seat that locks in 8 different height settings and 5 front to back settings
• 1.5” Rubber grip handles welded to the bike’s arms
• A belt driven, steel blade
• 1” wide polyurethane wheels on the front of the steel frame for portability
• A 2 year warranty
The second bike must meet the specifications of the Concept 2 bikeerg or equivalent.
The required specification for Bike 2
• Product weight 68 lbs.
• Body weight capacity of 300 lbs.
• Length of bike 48”
• Width of bike 24”
• Seat height of bike up to 40.5”
• Constructed of a welded aluminum frame with steel feet with black powdercoat
• Mounted LCD console that uses two D batteries and is powered by a flywheel
• LCD console that provides pace, watts, RPM, calories, and a variety of workouts
• The LCD console has Bluetooth to allow connectivity to fitness devices and apps
• Adjustable seat and handlebars that use a ratcheting system
• A flywheel drive that uses polygroove belts with a self-tensioning system and does not use a chain
• Crank length of 170 mm
• Wheels on the front of the frame for portability
• A 2 year warranty
