The parts are intended for long-term warehouse storage and will be shipped to the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center in Baltimore, MD.

The related federal contract opportunity is a sole-source solicitation for the U.S. Coast Guard to procure OEM parts and components for the MTU/RRSA 20V1163TB93 Main Propulsion Diesel Engines installed on the 418' WMSL cutters. This is a requirements-type contract with a base period of 3 December 2024 and four 1-year ordering periods ending 2 December 2029. It is a commercial item procurement under FAR Part 12, and only RRSA has the capability to supply the necessary parts for this project.
