About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) Questionnaire for Vision Insurance Services issued by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). The RFI seeks to assess market capabilities of potential vision insurance providers, with a comprehensive 20-question survey covering technical competencies, service capabilities, and past performance. Key areas of inquiry include cybersecurity certifications (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST), electronic enrollment processes, customer service strategies, provider network management, reporting capabilities, claims processing, and specific benefit details like post-Lasik surgery coverage and medically necessary contact lens handling.
The questionnaire requires respondents to provide detailed information about their company's vision insurance service offerings, including past performance examples with specific contract details, potential language support for customer service, network provider options, and reporting capabilities. Potential vendors are expected to describe their technical core competencies, ability to respond within 30 days to a full solicitation, unique features of their vision insurance services, and their strategy for supporting employer groups, employees, and their families. The RFI suggests the OCC intends to release a competitive solicitation for vision insurance services in the near future, with vendors invited to demonstrate their comprehensive capabilities through this detailed questionnaire.
