About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for HVAC Water Treatment services at Buckley Space Force Base (SFB) in Colorado. The contract requires a contractor to provide comprehensive water treatment for two specific facilities: Building 430 with a cooling tower and two 125-ton chillers, and Building 331 with a 96-ton high-density adiabatic fluid cooler. Key requirements include developing and implementing a water treatment program, conducting regular testing and analysis, providing necessary chemicals and equipment, performing monthly inspections, and maintaining emergency service capabilities with a 4-hour response time.
The PWS details extensive environmental and safety compliance requirements, including obtaining approval for hazardous materials, developing emergency response plans, and adhering to Air Force instructions and environmental regulations. The contractor must provide monthly reports, maintain 24/7 availability, and be prepared to perform services during crisis situations. The contract includes specific provisions for security access to the base, with contractors requiring escort by 460th Civil Engineering Squadron personnel and needing to obtain a DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) card for base access.
