Performance Work Statement Summary
This Performance Work Statement outlines repair and certification requirements for one government-owned vehicle-mounted aerial lift platform (bucket truck) owned by the 140th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Colorado Air National Guard. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, labor, parts, materials, tools, and equipment to repair identified deficiencies and certify the equipment to Fully Mission Capable (FMC) status in accordance with ANSI/SAIA A92.2: Vehicle-Mounted Elevating and Rotating Aerial Devices standards. The bucket truck failed its mandated annual inspection due to multiple critical and safety-related discrepancies, and the 140th LRS Vehicle Management flight lacks certification to perform these specialized repairs.
The contractor must complete six general repair tasks including replacing damaged ISO-GRIP controller cover screws, replacing one to ten safety and instructional placards, replacing the damaged platform rotation pin assembly, drilling out damaged nylon screws, replacing worn anti-slip tape on the platform entry step, and repairing/replacing the leaking lower control valve (Class 1 hydraulic leak). Additionally, the contractor shall troubleshoot and repair the inoperable platform tilt system, which requires at minimum adjusting and lubricating the handle, adjusting the proximity switch for manual leveling at the turntable, and lubricating the chain mechanism. The contractor is responsible for all freight, transportation costs, shop supplies, and environmental disposal fees. Upon completion, the contractor shall conduct full operational testing and provide ANSI A92.2 compliance certification, along with a detailed invoice and signed certification documentation.
