PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Naval Special Warfare Command
Yard Equipment Ramp
1. OBJECTIVE
1.1. Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) requires one (1) yard equipment ramp to load and unload boats, trucks and containers onto and off-of commercial tractor trailers. NSWG-4 conducts commercial linehaul movements approximately 35 (over 110 individual commercial trailer loads) times per year. Requirement includes (1) yard equipment ramp, delivery, and installation.
2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT
2.1. Requirement: One (1) Equipment Yard Ramp
2.2. Description and Capabilities: Yard Ramp is a fixed structure used to load equipment onto tractor trailers. Ramp height must be adjustable to accommodate various tractor trailer heights. Ramp must be able to withstand the weights associated with NSW equipment and must be long enough to sufficiently load NSW water craft with either a truck or a forklift. Requirement shall include (1) yard equipment ramp, delivery, and installation. Contractor shall provide all hardware and personnel to assemble.
2.3. Specifications/Salient Characteristics :
2.3.1. Equipment ramp, fixed
2.3.2. Color: Negotiable, however black is preferred
2.3.3. Weight bearing capacity: 35,000 lbs minimum
2.3.4. Overall length: 27 feet to 36 feet
2.3.5. Minimum travel width: 114 inches
2.3.6. Height: Adjustable from 36 inches to 55 inches
2.3.7. At least 4 in safety curb
2.3.8. Material: Steel and Aluminum
3. DELIVERY INFORMATION
3.1. Required delivery date: 30 days after award
3.2. Delivery POC Name: Mr. Christopher Lord. Alternate POC: Mr. Curtis Emmert.
3.3. Delivery address: 2220 Schofield Rd, Ste 100. Virginia Beach, VA 23459
3.4. Special instructions: Requires access to a military installation. Delivery POCs referenced in 3.3., will meet the driver at the commercial truck Gate 3 on JEB Little Creek, VA. The driver will be sponsored onboard and escorted to the offload site then report to the Pass and ID office located at 1000 Helicopter Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23459. Driver must be able to pass a background check in order to be granted access.

5. QUALITY ASSURANCE
5.1. The Government reserves the right to perform inspections and surveillance to evaluate the Contractor’s compliance to the contract terms to include proper delivery of quantity and type of goods. The Government will make every effort to ensure that the surveillance methods used are conducted in an objective, fair, and consistent manner.
