Naval Special Warfare Command Product Description
Storz Radial Pulsed Wave & Focused Shockwave Therapy
1. BACKGROUND
1.1. The NSWCEN Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine clinic is dedicated to maintaining the readiness of
SEAL/SWCC candidates, instructors, and support staff. Among the most prevalent conditions we treat are tendinopathies and myofascial pain, for which current evidence supports shockwave therapy as an effective intervention for both acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. This modality is required for on-site shockwave therapy to enhance treatment capabilities and support personnel health.
2. OBJECTIVE
2.1. Acquire shockwave therapy capabilities to enhance the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries for both SEAL/SWCC candidates in training and instructors performing their duties. This addition will accelerate recovery times, enabling a swift return to training or operational responsibilities.
3. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT
3.1. Product Name: Storz DuoLith Ultra Device Radial Pulsed Wave & Focused Shockwave Device (BRAND
NAME)
3.2. Description and Capabilities: The Storz device offers both Radial and Focused Shockwave therapy, offering a therapeutic dosage of shockwaves, critical to targeting tendons, ligaments and fascia at different depths within the body.
3.3. Specifications/Salient Characteristics:
3.3.1. Radial Pulsed Wave and Focused Shockwave modalities within 1 unit.
3.3.2. On-site training upon delivery.
3.3.3. Radial Applicator.
3.3.4. FSW Modular Device.
3.3.5. Control Unit.
3.3.6. Technical support service available for any service and maintenance issues associated with proper functioning of the unit.
4. DELIVERY INFORMATION
4.1. Required delivery date: 45 days after award of contract.

5. MARKINGS AND LIMITED USE OF DATA
5.1. The Contractor shall refrain from using “Naval Special Warfare Command” (NSWC), reference to any NSWC personnel by title or position within NSWC, or this contract in any of its publications, websites, materials, media, or advertising media. The Contractor shall not use or reproduce the Department of the Navy’s trademarks or trade secrets with respect to Naval Special Warfare, Naval Special Warfare training, and the Navy SEALs/SWCCs (i.e., there are several U.S. trademark registrations in connection with the words NAVY SEALS, the Trident logo, and the SWCC logo).
6. QUALITY ASSURANCE
6.1. The Government reserves the right to perform inspections and surveillance to evaluate the Contractor’s compliance to the contract terms to include proper delivery of quantity and type of goods. The Government will make every effort to ensure that the surveillance methods used are conducted in an objective, fair, and consistent manner.
