About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a comprehensive camera surveillance system upgrade for the Travis Air Force Base Dormitory Campus. The project involves removing and disposing of 416 existing non-compliant surveillance cameras across 18 buildings and installing a new NDAA/TAA compliant IP-based camera system. The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and infrastructure, including CAT 6A cabling and power/electrical outlets, to successfully implement the surveillance monitoring and recording equipment.
Key technical specifications include cameras with all-weather capabilities, day/night and low-light functionality, motion detection, and minimum 5MP resolution. Network Video Recorders (NVRs) must retain video for 90 days, record at 30 frames per second, and have encryption protocols. Each dormitory will have UPS battery backup for network switches and NVRs. The project requires coordination with the 60th Communications Squadron for equipment approval, system configuration, and training for Dormitory Management Staff. The installation will occur in phases based on fund availability, with the contractor responsible for removing old equipment, installing new cameras, and providing comprehensive documentation and user training.
