About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the overhaul/repair of various MTU1163TB93 engine components for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC). It details the requirements for inspection, repair, testing, preservation, packaging, and marking of 34 specific engine parts, including turbochargers, pumps, injectors, and other critical assemblies. The SOW outlines the applicable references, replacement part requirements, testing procedures, quality assurance measures, and packaging/marking specifications. It also requires the contractor to provide a detailed cost estimate for the overhaul services prior to starting work. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation by the USCG SFLC to establish a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery requirements contract for the repair/overhaul of these MPDE parts across the Coast Guard's fleet of 418' Maritime Security Cutter Large (WMSL) vessels.
