About this file

This Sources Sought document (Solicitation Number FA8601-25-Q-0161SS) is issued by the Air Force to gather market research for a potential acquisition involving Service Maintenance Agreement for a Nikon X-Ray Machine. The Air Force is contemplating setting this acquisition aside for small businesses, contingent on demonstrating sufficient interest and capability. A key requirement is that two or more small business prime contractors must be capable of providing at least 50% of the entire contract scope, in compliance with FAR clause 52.219-14.

Potential respondents are required to submit a comprehensive capabilities package addressing specific survey questions, including company details, ownership status, socio-economic classification, manufacturing information, and past project experience. The document requests information such as company name, point of contact, DUNS/CAGE code, warranty details, and sales history. If the acquisition is not set aside for small businesses, the contract may include a small business utilization requirement, and respondents are asked to provide feedback on potential subcontracting opportunities. Specific capability survey questions include identifying the country for service maintenance, describing facility capabilities, detailing past similar project experiences, and assessing any potential barriers to meeting the requirement.
