About this file

This file is an instructions document for a Sources Sought survey related to a floating dock procurement at Bass Lake, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The U.S. Air Force's Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of designing, procuring, and installing one floating dock to provide safe, stable, and accessible infrastructure for launching and tying up canoes, kayaks, and other self-propelled watercraft. This is a nonappropriated fund (NAF) procurement, meaning Federal Acquisition Regulation rules do not apply and no appropriated federal funds are involved; the funds are generated through military community programs and services.

Respondents must submit capabilities packages addressing both survey information and capability survey questions. Required survey information includes company name and mailing address, primary point of contact details, domestic or foreign ownership status, DUNS/CAGE codes, web URLs, manufacturer information, proprietary data release permissions, warranty details, and commercial sales history. Capability survey responses must describe facility capabilities and staff composition, detail past project experience with contract numbers and dates, identify any requirements that would preclude viability as a solution, and confirm whether established market prices exist and whether the product or service is offered to both government and commercial customers under similar terms and conditions. Responses should be submitted to Ms. Tracy Ferrise at tracy.ferrise@us.af.mil and Ms. Ally Peterangelo at ally.peterangelo@us.af.mil. This is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a formal request for quotation or proposal; no solicitation currently exists, and submission of information is voluntary with no government reimbursement of associated costs.
