About this file
This file contains instructions for responding to a Sources Sought notice for feather banners and trusses required by the United States Air Force Marathon at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quotation or formal solicitation. This is a nonappropriated fund (NAF) purchase, meaning federal appropriated funds and tax dollars are not involved, and FAR rules do not apply.
Respondents must submit capabilities packages to Ms. Ally Peterangelo (ally.peterangelo@us.af.mil) and Ms. Amanda Hoyng (amanda.hoyng@us.af.mil) that include company name and physical address, point of contact information, ownership status (domestic or foreign), DUNS/CAGE code, website URL, manufacturing information, proprietary data release authorization, warranty details, and commercial sales history. Capabilities packages must address facility capabilities and staff composition, past experience on similar projects with contract details and references, any requirements that would preclude viability as a solution, and established market pricing and terms offered to both government and commercial customers. The requirement encompasses providing feather banners and trusses for the annual Air Force Marathon held the third weekend of September and other events throughout the year, along with installation, teardown, and storage services.
