About this file
This is a Sources Sought notice issued by the Air Force for Access Control System (ACS) Security Doors Maintenance services. The notice requests information from potential contractors to determine market capability and interest before finalizing the acquisition strategy.
Respondents must provide ten specific information items including company name and address, point of contact details, ownership status (domestic or foreign), socio-economic classification, DUNS/CAGE codes, website URL, manufacturer information, proprietary data handling consent, warranty details, and commercial sales history. The Air Force is considering designating this acquisition as a Small Business Set Aside if sufficient demonstrated interest and capability exist from at least two small business prime contractors capable of performing 50 percent of the requirement in compliance with FAR clause 52.219-14. Small business respondents must provide detailed information about teaming arrangements, subcontracting percentages, and previous teaming experience. Additionally, all respondents should address five capability survey questions covering manufacturing location, facility capabilities and staff composition, relevant past project experience with contract numbers and points of contact, any requirements that would preclude viability of their solution, and established market pricing including comparison of terms and conditions offered to government versus commercial customers. The notice also requests feedback on potential small business subcontracting opportunities if the acquisition is not set aside for small businesses.

Provide specific details and rationale as to how compliance with
FAR clause 52.219-14 would be achieved, including specific details regarding teaming arrangements, etc. If subcontracts are to be used, provide anticipated percentage of effort to be subcontracted and whether small or large businesses will be used.
