About this file
This document provides COVID-19 screening guidelines for contractors working at the Hines VA Hospital in Hines, Illinois. The guidelines require all individuals entering the facility to undergo a daily temperature check and symptom screening at one of four entry points, and to wear a dated sticker on their PIV card indicating they have been screened. Masks are mandatory at all times. Several buildings are secured each day at 4:30 PM, with only the Emergency Department and Building 200 remaining open for entry, which will require re-screening. Individuals may freely exit buildings but must be re-screened to re-enter, excluding through the two open entry points after 4:30 PM. Propping open doors or allowing unscreened individuals to enter is prohibited.
The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation number 36C25222Q0472 for elevator maintenance services at the Hines VA Hospital, to be awarded by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 12. The solicitation window and award date are not specified.
