About this file
This is a Fleet Change Log document prepared for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) regarding specifications for a bulk purchase of dump trucks under a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation. The RFP seeks qualified vendors to provide both single axle and tandem axle dump trucks to the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC) and MoDOT, with MoDOT anticipating the purchase of 45 to 65 dump trucks total. All vehicles must be delivered no later than December 31, 2027. The contract period commences from the fully executed resulting agreement and extends for one year. Proposals will be accepted electronically through MissouriBUYS powered by MOVERS and by mail through USPS, UPS, or FEDEX, with vendors required to notify the buyer of record five calendar days before the solicitation closing date if submitting hard copy bids. Email submissions are not accepted. Inquiries should be directed to the buyer of record, Ashten Nichols, at ashten.nichols@modot.mo.gov.
The change log documents modifications made to dump truck specifications in this solicitation compared to the previous solicitation, including updates to corrosion mitigation requirements (stainless steel oil pans), electrical upfitter circuits, frame hole specifications, key requirements (three sets), weight identification tags, backup camera display requirements with pre-approval mandates, hydraulic function control valve specifications, underbody scraper pre-approval requirements, and removeable base angles for snowplow options. Vendors are solely responsible for thoroughly reviewing all specifications to ensure compliance with MoDOT's requirements, as the change log serves only as a reference guide to identify differences from the previous solicitation.
