About this file

This file is a Fleet Change Log Reference document supporting the MoDOT Bulk Buy Dump Trucks Request for Proposal issued by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC). The document outlines modifications to dump truck specifications (both single axle and tandem axle) compared to the previous solicitation. MoDOT anticipates purchasing between 45 and 65 dump trucks under this contract, with all vehicles required to be delivered no later than December 31, 2027. The contract period extends from the date of the fully executed agreement through one year. Proposals must be submitted electronically through MissouriBUYS powered by MOVERS or by mail via USPS, UPS, or FedEx; vendors intending to submit hard copy bids must notify the buyer of record five calendar days prior to the solicitation closing date. Inquiries should be directed to Ashten Nichols at ashten.nichols@modot.mo.gov.

The change log documents significant specification modifications across multiple sections, including requirements for stainless steel oil pans, additional upfitter electrical circuits, pre-drilled or punched frame holes on all chassis, three sets of keys, weight identification tags on dump trucks, backup camera display specifications requiring pre-approval, hydraulic function control valves with provisions for wing/scraper and pre-wet functions, underbody scraper pre-approval requirements, and removeable base angles as standard on 12' and 14' front snowplow options. The document emphasizes that vendors are solely responsible for thoroughly reviewing the complete specifications to ensure compliance with all MoDOT requirements.
