STATEMENT OF WORK

Gun Range Use by Hill AFB Dated: 05 January 2021

1. Scope of Work - The Contractor shall provide a local firearms range and facility containing 14 or more shooting lanes for the 75th Security Forces Squadron, SFS, to train personnel on firearms qualification. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this Statement of Work.

2. Contractor – The contractor agrees to provide a facility to the 75 SFS in accordance with the basic ordering period.

3. Requirements – The Contractor shall provide, as a minimum:

3.1 25 Meter range facility that must be within 30 minutes of Hill AFB.

3.2 First priority to the 75 SFS.

3.3 A firing range facility with no less than 14 lanes that can be used to qualify personnel with the following frangible ammunition – 5.56MM (M4), 9MM (M9/M18), 12GA (M870).

3.4 The lanes, to include target area, must be covered from weather.

3.5 Range surface must be permissible to allow shooters to have numerous shooting positions with no interference for the courses of fire outlined in AFMAN 36-2655.

3.6 The range must have the ability to be used for day time, low light, and night time fire.

3.7 The range must meet the specifications outlined in AFI 36-2654 & UFC 4-179-02.

3.8 Onsite covered storage area of no less than 10 ft by 20 ft.

3.9 Restrooms must be available on site.

4. Transportation – All transportation for personnel/equipment will be provided by 75 SFS &

75 LRS.

5. Notification – The contractor will be notified at a minimum of 24 hours prior.

6. CLIN Structure

0001 Hourly rate per lane Per hour per lane

0002 Rate per day per lane. The day will not exceed 8 hours.

Per day per lane

0003 Rate per week for ALL lanes IAW section 3.3.

The week will consist of 7 days a week with each day not exceeding 8 hours.

0004 Rate per month for ALL lanes IAW section

3.3. The month will consist of all days in the

month regardless of month length. The each day in the month will not exceed 8 hours.

7. Range Certification – The government intends to certify the range IAW UFC 4-179-02 and

AFI 36-2654 before the award of a Blanket Purchase Agreement resulting from this SOW.

8. Government Contractor – The contractor and its employees will perform services under this contract in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract including the SOW, as a contractor and not as a Government Agent, employee, or joint venture. The Contractor and its employees are employed to provide a facility IAW section 3 of this SOW only, and any payments made by the Government are compensation solely for such services rendered.
