About this file
This document contains salient characteristics for a 40 GHz Microwave Signal Generator for the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) Quantum Computing Equipment project. The required signal generator must meet specific technical specifications, including a frequency tuning range of 100 kHz to 40 GHz, high power output capabilities (19 dBm at 40 GHz and 23 dBm at 10 GHz), and a reference frequency error less than 10e-7. Additional requirements include frequency sweep mode, mechanical and electronic step attenuation, low harmonic filtration for frequencies below 2 GHz, pulse modulation with a minimum pulse width under 20 ns, pulse repetition frequency of at least 25 MHz, and an included warranty.
