About this file
This document is an attachment detailing requirements for Electromagnetic Warfare Operators Course (EWOC) Training Systems 1 and 2. The systems must operate in Ku, Ka, and X frequency bands, with specific technical capabilities including live transmission/reception, full system warranty, easy part replacement, and TAA compliance. Key operational requirements include setup/teardown within 30 minutes, 8-12 hours daily operation, motorized antenna control, simulation integration, and compatibility with existing simulator systems.
The training systems must feature a 2.4-meter parabolic antenna, operate on standard U.S. wall outlets (110/120V or 220V), include wave guide assembly, Low Noise Block, Up converter, and High Power Amplifier with at least 50W power. System components must maintain a small footprint, be operable from a workstation up to 30 feet away, and have admin and user account functionality with configurable access controls. The opportunity is a pre-solicitation by the Peterson Space Force Base 21st Contracting Squadron, specifically for the Department of the Air Force Space Command, seeking potential vendors for these specialized training systems.

Attachment 1 Electromagnetic Warfare Operators Course (EWOC) Training Systems 1 and 2 Requirements
· Must be able to Tx/Rx live over Ku band at a minimum. Would prefer Ku (12-18 GHz), Ka (27-40 GHz), and X (8-12 GHz) band if able to and these options must be easily upgradable if required in the future.
· Must have full support plan to include full system warranty parts, labor, and system training. Must also contain parts that are easily interchangeable or replaceable by operators or instructors. All replaceable parts must be easily replaceable in a short amount of time (around 30 minutes) to include reconfiguration of system.
· Must be TAA compliant.
· Entire system must be easily set up and torn down by an operator in under 30 minutes.
· System must have the ability to easily power off when not in use and power back up and be fully operational within 15 minutes. Must also be ruggedized and able to operate for 8-12 hours daily without system failure or degradation.
· Antenna and user workstation must be interchangeable between other systems that we use.
· Antenna does not need auto satellite acquisition but all tasks must be motorized and controlled from the user workstation, such as Azimuth, Elevation, and Polarization. Must also allow the user to validate signal power.
· System must be able to have a simulation capability and fully integrate into our current simulation system. In order to connect into our current simulator, the system would need to be able to receive signals via a single Coaxal RF cable on L-Band. Vendor site visits are allowed, given a 30 day notice to the unit.
· Must have a physical Emergency stop on the antenna that is capable of cutting power to the antenna. Must also have a digital emergency stop on the user interface as well.
· Must be able to power off of U.S. standard wall outlet 110/120V or 220V.
· Must have a 2.4 meter parabolic antenna or similar, and antenna will not be inflatable.
· System components external to the antenna must maintain a small footprint and be operational from the user workstation, located up to 30 feet away from the system.
· Includes Ku-band wave guide assembly (at least), Low Noise Block, Up converter, and High Power Amplifier with no less than 50W power.
· Has its own modem, Spec-A capabilities, with ability to connect to external COTS modems and Spec-A’s. In other words, it must be modem and Spec-A agnostic with an L-band interface. Workstations must have admin accounts and user accounts. Admin accounts need full control and easy operability to restrict and allow access to certain functions as admins deem necessary.
