About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Army Contracting Command's Soldier Medical Devices Program Management Office seeking market research for a subscription-based equipment maintenance database and associated services for veterinary medical equipment. The RFI specifically targets a portable benchtop centrifuge for use in Role of Care 1 & 2 settings, used by veterinarians and animal care specialists for processing biological samples like blood, urine, and fecal specimens.
The RFI outlines detailed essential characteristics for the centrifuge, including FDA regulatory compliance, tube size compatibility (0.5-15 mL), six to twelve tube capacity, relative centrifugal force range of 350-10,500g, specific power requirements (110-240 VAC), and transportation/storage specifications. Vendors are required to submit electronic white papers in Microsoft Word or PDF format by 10:00 AM EST on 25 July 2025, with submission details provided to Trisha R. Scott and Patrick Wallace via their government email addresses. The document emphasizes that this is a market research effort and does not constitute a solicitation, with responses used to refine potential future requirements.
