SOURCES SOUGHT FOR IT ENTERPRISE ENGINEERING, OPERATIONS, AND HOSTING SERVICES FOR NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION (NAWCAD)
Attachment 1: Enterprise Environment Information Historically, the network transport environments include: Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR), Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN), Secure Defense Research and Engineering Network, (SDREN), Research Development Test & Evaluation (RDT&E), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and NMCI network services. Ingress and egress from cloud hosted services is performed through a Patuxent River Data Center owned Physical Device Security Stack (PDSS) located at Equinix facilities near the DISA Cloud Access Point.
With the exception of voice infrastructure, the majority of outside cable plant is air-blown fiber. The fiber infrastructure is routed throughout the Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River complex through Fiber Distribution Nodes (FDN) located in strategic zones. In most circumstances, fiber continues to the premises and is then converted to copper for the inside cable plant. The campus-wide cable plant supports classified and unclassified infrastructure. The fiber infrastructure services are hosted under the IT Integration & Support Services contract N0017819D8287, Task Order N0042121F3003.
A representative software/hardware inventory of the Government IT Infrastructure Environment consists of the following: This list is not all inclusive and does not include end user hardware and software assets or applications.
