About this file
This Statement of Work outlines requirements for annual preventative maintenance and calibration of mechanical and hardness testing machines at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, FL. The contractor must provide engineering, labor, supervision, materials, and tools to inspect, adjust, lubricate, calibrate and verify performance of one Instron Model 68FM-300 mechanical tester and multiple hardness testers in accordance with ASTM standards.
The specific equipment requiring service includes the Instron 68FM-300 mechanical tester (S/N: 68F300B29320) with 5kN, 100kN, and 300kN load cells and extensometers, two Wilson/Instron hardness testers, two microhardness testers (Wilson/Buehler and Wilson/Instron), and ten portable hardness testers (Ames and Wilson/Instron models). Work must be performed Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM ET. Upon completion, the contractor must provide NVLAP-accredited calibration certificates showing before/after data and uncertainties for each tester. All travel costs must be included in the service price rather than billed separately.
