Laser Engraver Specifications

1.0 Purpose

The Instrumentation Flight requires a fiber laser engraver to stay in compliance with Air Force 21-101 policies for tool identification requirements for an increased stock of tools and equipment for additional personnel. Additionally, there are increase calls to add permanent markings for in-house produced test fixture and components used on various sled tests. The following requirements will outline a suitable system to meet our expanded needs.

2.0 Scope

The Contractor shall deliver a laser engraver that meets the following requirements:

2.1.1 Tabletop machine

2.1.2 Class 1 station

2.1.3 Power 20 watt, 30watt or 30watt laser

2.1.4 Peak power 10kW

2.1.5 Speed up to 10000mm/s (393.7in/s)

2.1.9 Automatic shutdown when safety door is open
