About this file

This document is a Statement of Objectives (SOO) for replacing the existing Flash X-Ray System at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) Hypervelocity Aeroballistics Ranges Facilities on Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee.

The contract objectives include a defined Statement of Work to satisfy the performance parameters outlined in the SOO, planned project milestones, required data deliverables, and data rights clauses. The contract also requires a Quality Control Plan, Logistics Objective for hardware, software, and training support, and a Program Management Objective to provide the government visibility into the project schedule, performance, and risks.

The related federal contract opportunity is for a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to Hadland Imaging, LLC for the new Flash X-Ray and Multi-Anode Flash X-Ray Systems at AEDC. However, the government will consider proposals from all responsible sources.
