About this file
This is a draft capability areas document supporting a Sources Sought Notice for the Diplomatic Platform Support Services II (DiPSS II) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The document outlines seven capability areas that will form the foundation of the multiple-award IDIQ vehicle being pursued by the Department of State's Global Acquisitions office. The DiPSS II contract will provide comprehensive support services including Program Management, Construction, Life Support, Logistics and Supplies, Medical and Emergency Operations, Maintenance, and Security Support Services to the U.S. Department of State and other federal agencies operating under Chief of Mission Authority globally, with significant anticipated demand in Middle East and South-Central Asia contingency environments.
The Sources Sought Notice seeks industry feedback on the proposed capability areas and corresponding North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes to determine market interest, feasibility, and the initial operating capability of potential sources across global locations. The Department of State welcomes qualified Joint Ventures and encourages teaming arrangements, with particular emphasis on small business participation in joint ventures. Responses to this Sources Sought are informational only and do not constitute binding offers; they will inform the Government's ultimate acquisition strategy and approach for the forthcoming formal solicitation.
