About this file

This is an RFI (Request for Information) #24YS0048 from the California Department of Veterans Affairs seeking responses from vendors capable of providing multi-channel video services at the Veterans Home of California in Yountville. The scope includes providing video services to 741 residential units, 338 patient rooms, and 49 common areas at the facility located at 260 California Drive, Yountville, CA 94599. If an agreement is reached, the term would be for two years.

The RFI asks vendors to detail their approach to providing equipment, wiring, and service delivery, including whether they will use existing equipment or require new installations. Vendors must explain how they will maintain service quality, handle interruptions, and provide optional services to individual veterans. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, including FCC requirements, California building codes, and other standards. The document does not specify pricing requirements but asks vendors to outline equipment costs and ownership arrangements. The contractor will be responsible for any damages to the premises resulting from installation or maintenance of their wiring and equipment.
