About this file
This document package includes a DD Form 254 and a federal contract opportunity notice. The DD Form 254 outlines security requirements for a contract to provide logistics and technical support services to the Fleet Readiness Center East. It requires contractor employees to have secret facility clearances and describes classified material the contractor may access, including communications security information and national intelligence information. The contractor will receive, store, and generate classified documents and material at the Fleet Readiness Center East facility in North Carolina.
The related federal contract opportunity is a presolicitation notice for logistics and technical support services with the Naval Air Systems Command. The notice provides the draft solicitation number and describes the follow-on requirement to an existing contract. It requests industry feedback on the draft solicitation by June 25th and plans to issue the formal solicitation the first week of July. The requirement is for the Fleet Readiness Center East to support its industrial and logistics maintenance operations.
