About this file
This is a cost proposal attachment for Invitation for Bid (IFB) #25-0170 issued by the California Department of Food & Agriculture for well pump replacement services at the Mt. Pass Border Station. The proposal requires bidders to submit pricing for well pump replacement services as detailed in the Scope of Work (Exhibit A). The cost proposal form includes line items for the base service cost and a 20% contingency amount, with a total cost calculation combining both figures.
The cost proposal requires bidders to include all associated expenses within their pricing, including labor, equipment, parts, materials, tools, licenses, permits, supervision, inspection, insurance, transportation, travel, and per diem. Bidders must populate every line item with a specific dollar amount; blank cells or zero dollar amounts may result in bid rejection or be interpreted as performing services at no cost to the State. The proposal explicitly prohibits any modifications, alterations, or additions to the cost proposal document, including substitutions of company quotes or invoices. All bid components must be completed as presented in the standardized form to maintain bid validity.
