About this file

This is a Statement of Requirements (SOR) document specifying the technical and performance specifications for Small Shelter System tents required by the Air Force Officer Training School (OTS) at Maxwell Air Force Base. The procurement requires two tent systems designed to house up to 175 students simultaneously at the OTS Blue Thunder location in support of the OTS-Victory initiative. The baseline reference product is the CAMSS Shelter Model PN: CAMSS-HIT-20QM4W, with vendors permitted to propose equal or superior alternatives that demonstrate full compliance with all performance characteristics outlined in the attachment.

The procurement includes the shelter tents along with associated components: electrical distribution kits, lighting systems, fire extinguishers, and on-site delivery with installation services at Maxwell AFB. Vendors proposing alternative products must provide detailed documentation demonstrating that their offerings meet or exceed all specified performance requirements to be considered as acceptable substitutes for the named baseline reference product. This is a formal solicitation (FA3300OTS26Q) issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command (AETC) requiring vendors to align their proposals with the technical specifications and compliance criteria established in the accompanying SOR documentation.
