About this file

This attachment provides salient characteristics for an automated bench stock vending system solicited by the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command. The system must provide 24/7 authorized access via CAC card or man-number and PIN. It will be located on the hangar floor at Building 7270 at Ellsworth Air Force Base to save time for maintainers and parts attendants. The system must separately house each item in parts cups that can be individually accessed and returned within 15 seconds. It will manage stock levels between 100-200% and flag items for restocking. A barcode reader will allow for quick and accurate restocking. Lot controlled and shelf-life items will be automatically managed and expired items locked. Search options include NSN, nomenclature, part number, and bin location. The software must maintain an inventory database of the last 30 issues and support at least 200 reports. The vendor must provide configuration diagrams, a continuity book with equipment lists and training, and documentation to test and demonstrate system functionality. User and system training will be provided upon installation.
