Plot a topographic map, cross sections, plan and profile, benchmark locations, and soil boring locations from the survey data.
Verify and plot the location and size of the following utilities during the survey and plot on the topographic survey map: The A-E shall use record drawing information for pipe size and surface feature location for utility alignment. Digging to verify size and location may be required. However, if an invert elevation is needed and the manhole lid is not visible, the A-E will be responsible for digging up to 8 inches to expose the lid. If more digging is required, the cost will be established with a modification of this contract. The Civil Engineer shop personnel will not provide assistance. Utility locations shall be accomplished by the A-E.

5.1.6. The A-E shall prepare and furnish drawings to clearly indicate the extent, type, and detailed requirements for all work. Hardcopy drawings shall be prepared on 24" x 36" paper. Border width on the drawings shall be one inch. The Air Force standard title blocks plus any other special instructions as may be given by the Contracting Officer will be placed on all drawings.
To the largest extent possible all data collected shall be shown on a separate layer of the drawings (i.e. soil logs, terrain, landscape, etc.).
Final drawings shall be submitted in two (2) hard copies as a submittal for approval and transferred to the government via DoD SAFE: https://safe.apps.mil/ specific file format will be specified in the TO SOW and will include ArcGIS, AutoCAD or REVIT files depending on the work performed.
