About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity to procure new Oracle Solaris servers and Network Attached Storage (NAS) controllers for the 10th Space Operations Squadron (10 SOPS).
The SOW details the minimum technical requirements for the Solaris servers and NAS controllers, including the specific hardware configurations, Information Assurance (IA) compliance, delivery timelines, and documentation requirements. The contract also requires the provider to have an office in the United States and comply with the Buy American Act. The federal contract opportunity is solicitation number FA255024Q0033, issued by the Department of the Air Force Space Command. The purpose is to replace the current Oracle servers and NAS that cannot support necessary IA upgrades for the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) and associated ground systems operated by 10 SOPS. Only Oracle-branded products can meet the compatibility requirements. Offers will be evaluated on the technical capability to meet the specifications outlined in the SOW.
