(CLIN X002) *332s or Work Tasks is defined as greater than $2,000 in materials costs and/or less than 32 man-hours of construction hours per individual work task as defined by Davis Bacon Acts. Additional costs for supervision and processing shall not be included by the primary Contractor. There are unlimited hours for non-construction tasks. (CLIN X003) *Construction Work Task is defined as greater than $2,000 in materials costs and/or more than 32 man-hours of construction project using multiple crafts as defined by Davis-Bacon Acts. (CLIN X003) The Contractor shall provide a proposal for work items above the threshold established for SSW work. The proposals shall include a schedule for work performance, milestones, and completion as well as an itemized cost breakdown which shall include detailed information to include scope of work, labor rate, man-hours, detailed material description (i.e., item description, serial numbers, part numbers, etc.), material unit price, tax, overhead, and profit. The Government will review and validate the Contractor’s proposal. The proposal shall be proven fair and reasonable by the CO, or their designated representative, before the Contractor is given the notice to proceed. The Government shall determine the most advantageous way to satisfy the requirement. The Contractor shall begin work, schedule work, and/or order parts and materials within two (2) days from the notice to proceed notification. The Contractor shall inform the CO, or their designated representative, an updated status of the Work Order during weekly meetings, or immediately, if significant changes occur. The Government will review, approve/disapprove, and make a final determination on which Work Task requests are to be performed by in-house capabilities for planned work, and which will be accomplished as engineering projects. Activities should be based on sound life-cycle cost management practices.
