About this file
This document is a comprehensive Project Manual for the Columbus VA Healthcare System's Perimeter Road Reconfiguration project (Project #757-204), located at 420 North James Road in Columbus, Ohio. The solicitation is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside construction project with a project value between $10-20 million. The project scope includes comprehensive site preparation, demolition, road and utility reconfiguration, building expansion and renovation, and associated infrastructure improvements.
The project manual contains detailed specifications across multiple divisions, including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and site work requirements. Key components include concrete work, masonry, metal fabrications, thermal insulation, exterior closure, and various site improvements. The documentation provides extensive technical details such as material specifications, installation requirements, quality control procedures, and commissioning guidelines. The project involves phased construction with multiple bid alternates that allow the VA to adjust the project scope, such as options to modify sidewalk construction, parking lot striping, site lighting, and interior building improvements.
