In the insurance industry, the overall maximum limit (i.e. title of item 2.2 in Performance Work Statement of the solicitation) is defined as the annual maximum benefit amount paid towards covered medical expenses. However, item 2.2 of the Performance Work Statement of the solicitation fails to provide this limit per member per year, but instead mentions the cost of insurance. So, please clarify the annual maximum amount.

The current contract has a Plan Annual Maximum of 28,173,750 per Year of Insurance, applying per insured person per Year of Insurance. It is at the Offeror's discretion to determine the dollar value/risk in determining the value of the Plan Annual Maximum to ensure the minimum requirements of the PWS, Attachment 0001 are met.
