About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers file for a federal lodging contract opportunity for the 438th Military Police Detachment. The solicitation (W15QKN25Q0028) requires a lodging facility in Salt Lake City, Utah from 22-25 August 2025, with specific requirements including no-cost parking, accessible parking area, and location in a low-crime area with security cameras or a security guard. The contract is a brand new requirement with no incumbent, and key terms include payment only for actual rooms occupied, which will be processed after lodging is completed.

Key details include: no transportation needed, no meals required, on-site hotel staff presence acceptable, tax-exempt status with a letter to be provided upon award, and a rooming requirement for 2 vans. The government emphasizes strict responsiveness criteria, noting that partial quotes or incorrect dates will be deemed non-responsive. The anticipated award date is within 3 business days of the performance start, and the selected contractor will pay the hotel directly, with reimbursement through DFAS (Defense Finance and Accounting Service).
