CERTIFIED MATERIAL TEST REPORT
For those material(s) identified below, a certified test report must be provided to the Government with each shipment. The test results contained on the certified test report(s) shall be adequate to determine compliance with all applicable requirements of the material specification(s) listed below. Availability of the certified test reports are in addition to other contract requirements and does not reduce or prejudice the Government's right to inspect supplies under other provisions of this contract. The test report(s) shall contain the following:
a. Name and address of suppliers.
b. Purchase order number.
c. Identification of all materials by specification, revision, amendment and dates, together with type, grade, size etc.
d. Quantity of each material.
e. Test results identified by reference to the applicable requirements:
Item: Grenade Tube (Cardboard Tube) Specifications: Per CAAA Drawing 9829 Rev. B Material:
1. Wall Thickness 0.095”.
2. Shall withstand a longitudinal Crush Force of at least 1400 LBS. when tested on a compression force test machine using an approach Velocity of 20” per minute.
3. 0.0005” Moisture Resistant Silver Foil Wrap to the external of the tube.
4. Plug (x2): Serrated metal
a. 5.375” Diameter
b. 5.445” Flare
c. 1.000: Depth
d. made from 126 Gauge Cold Rolled Steel (Industry Standard .0159-.01999 Thick).
5. Shipping Requirements: See CAAA Dwg. 9829 Rev. B
f. Quantity tested, sample size, and specimen type as applicable.
g. Date, signature, and title of the authorized representative of the contractor that is attesting to the accuracy of the test report.

SHALL BE 45 ı# 15 DEGREES. LAYERS SHALL BE BONDED TOGETHER WITH POLYVINYL
ACETATE RESIN ADHESIVE IAW COMMERICAL ITEM DESCRIPTION ASTM D4317 OR A-A-1270
BETWEEN LAYERS. HORIZONTAL GAPS BETWEEN WINDINGS SHALL BE 0.06 MAXIMUM.
