About this file

This document contains technical specifications for various construction materials for the Pine Bluff Arsenal, covering five distinct sections: Stone Backfill, Selected Material, Aggregate Base Course, Concrete, and Riprap. Each section specifies detailed material requirements, measurement and payment terms, and delivery instructions, referencing the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department Standard Specifications for Highway Construction.

The culvert purchase description provides comprehensive specifications for two types of culverts: galvanized and plastic. Galvanized culverts must be steel, corrugated, 16-gauge, 20 feet long, and meet ASTM A-929 standards. Plastic culverts are specified as HDPE, 20 feet long, with inside diameters ranging from 12-15 inches, bell and spigot end connections, and meeting various ASTM and AASHTO standards for gravity flow and storm drainage applications. Both culvert types require specific material certifications and are intended for use at the Pine Bluff Arsenal, with consistent requirements for length, wall type, and end connections.
