Statement of Work Summary
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for ATV, UTV, and Snowmachine Maintenance and Repair services at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington, with an effective date of October 2026 (Contract Number FA462026QA297). The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to perform recurring preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on a fleet of all-terrain vehicles, utility task vehicles, and snowmachines in compliance with manufacturer best practices and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The contractor's facility must be located within a 30-mile radius of Fairchild AFB; the government handles transportation within this radius, but the contractor bears transportation costs for facilities outside this boundary.
The SOW specifies minimum maintenance requirements for each vehicle category: ATV/UTV maintenance includes oil and filter changes, air filter service, gear case inspection, belt and clutch cleaning, brake system inspection, wheel bearing service, suspension and drivetrain inspection, axle boot inspection, tire pressure checks, fluid level checks, and lubrication. Snowmachine maintenance includes oil and filter changes (4-stroke models), engine compression testing, air intake screen inspection, clutch and drive belt alignment and tension checks, engine mount bolt inspection, head bolt re-torquing, recoil handle inspection, brake system inspection, idle RPM adjustment, fuel filter inspection, light and switch verification, suspension bolt inspection, jackshaft bearing inspection and lubrication, and ski/track inspection and adjustment. The SOW includes diagnostic services (electronic scans, trouble code retrieval, system verification, firmware review, and health reports) and addresses unscheduled repairs: repairs under $2,500 require government POC approval; repairs exceeding $2,500 require Contracting Officer approval, with parts reimbursed at cost plus no more than 10% markup. The contractor must notify the government POC when vehicles are ready for pickup. Appendices provide detailed inventories of approximately 150 ATV/UTV units and 20 snowmachines requiring maintenance.
